Use a double pot with perforated inside pot, add water to a low boil to cover bottom of pot, add the inside pot, place tamales with open end face up standing upright, cover with a damp kitchen towel cover with foil or lid, heat for about 10-15minÂ
STOVE TOP FRY OPTION:
In a fry pan add about 1/3 cup oil (enough to cover bottom of pan) low heat, remove husk, heat tamales on each side until toasty golden brown.Â
MICROWAVE OPTION:
Wrap individual tamales with damp paper towel for about 2minutes, or for several tamales on plate cover with a damp paper towel and heat for about 3min. Â
